BOILED HOTATE-L is a variation of scallops that is supplied by Kanika. Boiled Hotate are Boiled Scallop Wings. Hotate scallops have beautiful soft and sweet meat and an incredibly delicate texture. The best hotate comes from cold waters, which is why our hotate is caught in Hokkaido. In Japan it is very common to eat hotate raw in the form of sushi or sashimi. However, these scallops are also sublime when grilled or baked.
